Article 3(1)(d) of the GNAT Constitution as amended in 2018, mandates the leaders of the Association to provide internal economic and other appropriate and relevant welfare services for members. This has resulted in the provision of several welfare packages for members since the 1970s.
Article 3(1) (a),(e) and (h) of the GNAT Constitution as amended in 2018 mandates the association to promote equal rights to all members as well as promote organic solidarity among members of the teaching fratenity. We cooperate with other workers unions in and outside Ghana. By this, we educate our members on their rights and responsibilities as employees and the need to join a Union.
Article 3(1) (c), (f), (j) and (k) of the GNAT Constitution as amended in 2018 mandates the Association to promote high academic standards, professional competence and exemplary conduct for members. We promote and protect the rights and interests of the child, as well as place the services of the Association at the disposal of individuals, public bodies and other organizations in pursuit of education.
